Todeleteseveralmessagethreads:
1.
Press andtap Messaging.
2.
Tap >Delete threads.
3. SelectthemessagethreadsyouwanttodeleteandtapDelete.
Note:Lockedmessageswillnotbedeleted,unlessyouselecttheInclude protected messages
checkboxbeforeconfirmingthedeletion.
Todeleteasinglemessage:
1.
Press andtap Messaging.
2. Whileviewingamessagethread,touchandholdthemessagethatyouwanttodelete.
Note:Ifthemessageislocked,tapUnlock ontheMessage optionsmenuandthentouchand
holdthemessagetodisplaytheoptionsmenuagain.
3. TapDelete ontheoptionsmenu,andthenfollowthepromptstoconfirmthedeletion.
Toviewcontactdetailsandcommunicatewithacontact:
Whenyoureceiveamessagefromsomeoneinyourstoredcontacts,youcantapthecontact’sphoto
oriconinthemessagethreadtoopenamenuofoptions.Dependingonthestoredcontact
information,youcanviewthecontactdetails,phone,orsendanemailmessagetothecontact,and
more.

ThemessagessettingsmenuletsyoucontroloptionsforyourtextandMMSmessagesincluding
messagelimits,sizesettings,andnotifications.

Press andtap Messaging.

Tap >Setting toconfiguremessagesettings:
l Default messaging app:Chooseanapptousebydefault.
l Delete old messagesallowsthephonetoautomaticallydeletetheoldestmessageswhen
themaximumnumberofmessagesisreached.Setthemaximumnumberofmessageswith
theTextmessagelimitandMultimediamessagelimitsettingsbelow.
l Text message limitallowsyoutosetthemaximumnumberoftextmessagesper
conversation.
l Multimedia message limitallowsyoutosetthemaximumnumberofmultimedia
messagesperconversation.
l Text templatesallowsyoutocreateandmanagetextstringsthatyoucanaddtomessages.
