service,whereavailable.
Whenyouplaceacallto9-1-1,theGPSfeatureofyourphoneprovidesinformationaboutyour
approximatelocation.Dependingonseveralvariables,includingavailabilityandaccesstosatellite
signals,itmaytakeupto30secondsormoretodetermineandreportyourapproximatelocation.
Important!Alwaysreportyourlocationtothe9-1-1operatorwhenplacinganemergencycall.
Somedesignatedemergencycalltakers,knownasPublicSafetyAnsweringPoints(PSAPs),may
notbeequippedtoreceiveGPSlocationinformationfromyourphone.
Receive Phone Calls

Whenyoureceiveaphonecallfromacontact,theIncomingcallscreenappearsanddisplaysthe
callerIDicon,name,andphonenumberofthecallingparty.Whenyoureceiveaphonecallfrom
someonewhoisnotstoredinContacts,onlythedefaultcallerIDiconandphonenumberappearon
theIncomingcallscreen.
Note:Ifyourphoneisturnedoff,allcallsautomaticallygotovoicemail.
