Make Phone Calls
Thereareseveralconvenientwaystoplacecallsfromyourphone.
Call Using the Keypad
Themost“traditional”waytoplaceacallisbyusingthephone’skeypad.
1.
Press andtap Phone.
l Ifyoudon’tseethekeypad,taptheKeypadtabtodisplayit.
2. Tapthenumberkeysonthekeypadtoenterthephonenumber.
l Asyouenterdigits,contactswithmatchingnumbersdisplay.Ifyouseethenumberyouwant
todial,tapittoplacethecallimmediatelywithoutenteringtherestofthenumber.

Tap tocallthenumber.

Toendthecall,tap .
OptionsWhileDialing
Whiledialingacallwiththekeypad,tap fortheseoptions:
l Send message:Sendatextmessagetothenumberyoudialed.
l Add to contacts:Savethenumbertoanewcontact,orupdateanexistingcontact.See
AddaContactformoreinformation.
l Speed dial setting:Viewandconfigurespeeddials.
l Add 2-sec pause:Inserta2-secondpauseintothenumberyouaredialing.Thiscanbe
usefulwhenstoringnumbersforautomatedphonemenus.
l Add wait:Insertapauseintothenumberyouaredialing,towaitforinputfromyou.Thiscan
beusefulwhenstoringnumbersforautomatedphonemenus.
l One-handed operation on/One-handed operation off:Movethekeypaddisplaytothe
leftorrightsideofthescreen,tomakedialingwithonehandeasier.WhenOn,youcantap
thearrowstomovethekeypadtotherightorleft.
