Send Information Using Bluetooth
YoucanuseBluetoothtotransferinformationbetweenyourphoneandanotherBluetooth-enabled
devicesuchasaphoneornotebookcomputer.Thefirsttimeyoutransferinformationbetweenyour
phoneandanotherdevice,youneedtoenterorconfirmasecuritypasscode.Afterthat,yourphone
andtheotherdevicearepaired,andyouwillnotneedtoexchangepasscodestotransferinformation
inthefuture.
SendInformationFromYourPhonetoAnotherDevice
Youcansendthefollowingtypesofinformation,dependingonthedeviceyouaresendingto:
n Imagesandvideos
n Calendarevents
n Contacts
n Audiofiles
1. Setthereceivingdevicetodiscoverablemode.Youmayalsoneedtosetitto“ReceiveBeams”
or“ReceiveFiles”.Refertothedevice’sdocumentationforinstructionsonreceivinginformation
overBluetooth.
2. Onthephone,opentheapplicationthatcontainstheinformationorfileyouwanttosend.Follow
thestepsforthetypeofitemyouwanttosend:
l Photo or video(inCamera).Aftercapturingaphoto,onthepreviewscreen,tap
>Bluetooth.
l Photos and videos(inGallery).OntheAlbumstab,tapanalbum,tapapicture,andthen
tap >Bluetooth.
l Calendar event.IntheCalendar’sDayview,Agendaview,orWeekview,taptheeventand
thentap >Bluetooth.
l Music track.ThisfeatureisavailablethroughtheMusicapp.Withthetrackdisplayedon
theNowplayingscreen,tap >ViaBluetooth.
l Voice recording.OnthemainVoiceRecorderscreen,touchandholdarecordingandthen
tapShare via>Bluetooth.
3. IfyouarepromptedtoturnonBluetooth,tapYesorOK.
4. Tapthenameofthereceivingdevice.
5. Ifprompted,accepttheconnectiononthereceivingdevice,andenterthesamepasscodeon
