Turn4GOnandConnecttothe4GNetwork
1.
Press andtap >Settings>Connections.
2. TapMore networks>Mobile networks>Network mode.
3. SelectLTE/CDMAorAutomatic.Thephonewillscanforthe4Gnetworkandwillautomatically
connecttoit.
Whenyourphoneisconnectedtothe4Gnetwork,the4Gicon appearsintheStatusbar
andtellsyoutheapproximatesignalstrength(numberofbandsdisplayed).
Note: The4Gnetworkisself-discoverable,whichmeansnoadditionalstepsarerequiredforyour
phonetoconnecttoit.
Check4GNetworkStatus

2. TapAbout device>Status.
3. TheNetwork,Signalstrength,andIPaddressaredisplayedonthestatusscreen.
Your User Name
Whenyoubuyyourphoneandsignupforservice,you’reautomaticallyassignedausername,which
istypicallybasedonyournameandanumber,followedby“@sprintpcs.com.”(Forexample,the
thirdJohnSmithtosignupforSprintdataservicesmighthave[e-mail]ashisuser
name.)
Whenyouusedataservices,yourusernameissubmittedtoidentifyyounetwork.Yourusernameis
automaticallyprogrammedintoyourphone.Youdon’thavetoenterit.
UpdateYourUserName
Ifyouchoosetochangeyourusernameandselectanewoneonline,ormakeanychangestoyour
services,youmustthenupdatetheprofileonyourphone.
