USING INTENSIVE WASH
If you select Intensive wash, the Intensive acts at the most eective times for the detected amount of
laundry, maximizing the eect of the Intensive, increasing the wash temperature, enhancing the Soak eect,
and improving wash performance.
1. Load the washer.
2. Press the Power button.
3. Turn the Cycle Selector and select a Intensive Cycle. (The Deep Clean cycle automatically selects
Intensive.)
4. Press the Intensive button.
5. Add detergent to the dispenser tray and add fabric softener up to the marked line.
6. Press the Start/Pause button.
: The washer automatically selects the optimal wash conditions by sensing the weight of the laundry.
Intensive may not necessarily be visible during the Intensive cycles. Intensive may not be present
during the entire Intensive wash cycle.
ATC (AUTO TEMPERATURE CONTROL)
ATC is the control function that the washer controls water temperature with temperature sensor (thermistor).
Because there are numerous water temperatures depending on the customer’s environment (cold
areas, warm areas, various water temperatures, settings of heater temperature, etc.), ATC function in
our washer maintains the certain level of wash temperature to output the best washing performance at
each cycle.
If you select normal & heavy duty cycles, those cycles are the regulation and UL cycles. Since new
washer must reduce the amount of energy usage as a first priority, customers will notice more cold
water entering the washers, but this is normal and not a problem.
In those regulation cycles, hot temperature is similar to acceptable adult bath-water temperature and
warm temperature is similar to comfortable swimming-pool water temperature.
If customers want to wash clothes in a specific water temperature, customers should choose a
dierent cycle at each temperature (Hot/Warm/Eco Warm) .
