5. Operation of the EUT During Testing
5.1. Operating Conditions
The EUT was tested in a normal laboratory environment.
During testing, the EUT was powered using a +13.5V and 27V ±10% DC supply with a ripple voltage
of less than 1.5%.
5.2. Operating Modes
During testing, the EUT was operated in the following mode(s):
Powered from a vehicle battery, running test software exercising the radio link to the handheld unit.
5.3. Configuration and Peripherals
During testing, the EUT was configured in the following way:
The EUT was connected to a scanner, keyboard and one or two 12V battery (via vehicle LISNs). An
air link was established from the handheld unit to the EUT.
