To disassemble the lock remove the re-usable face
cap off the lock.
There is a retainer in the back of the
cylinder housing that keeps the plug
from being forcibly removed. Drill to the
side of the retainer and pry it out.

There is an access hole in
the deck lid liner where
the lock can be seen. It is
best to partially remove
the liner as not to damage
it.
To remove the lock, unsnap the electrical switch
on the back of the lock, remove the linkage rod,
and then remove the two 10mm bolts that hold it
in place.
