Normal Operation • There is a clicking sound of thermostat, when the compressor cycles on and off. • The fan may run, even if the compressor does not “ON”. • During high humidity or on rainy season, water will collect in the base tray. The water may overflow and drip from the outdoor side of the unit. • Some times, on rainy season or when humidity is high, pinging noise may occur caused by water splashing against the condenser heat exchanger by the condenser fan.
