Text Messaging and MMS
With Text Messaging (SMS), you can send and receive instant text messages between your
wireless phone and another messaging-ready phone.
Multimedia messages, or MMS, can contain text and pictures, recorded voice, audio or video
files, picture slideshows, contact cards (vCard), or appointments (vCalendar).
See your service plan for applicable charges for messaging.
Compose Text Messages
Quickly compose and send text messages on your phone.
► Press > Messages > Send Message.
Select a Single Recipient
► Highlight a contact from the Go to Contacts list and press .
Select Multiple Recipients
1. Press MULTIPLE (left softkey) to select multiple contacts.
2. Highlight an entry and press . Repeat the process for each entry in the list.
3. Press CONTINUE (left softkey).
Change the Text Input Mode
► From a screen where you can enter text, press OPTIONS (right softkey) to change the
text input mode.
Social Network Messages
Social Networking provides a single point for accessing online communities and content. Before
you can use this feature you must register this phone with your social network. Please follow the
instructions for each social network account.
