Contact Samsung Customer Service Center for enquiries on the purchase and installation of a TV tuner box. Source List You can display the screen of a source device connected to the product. Select a source from Source List to display the screen of the selected source. Sometimes the screen will not display properly unless the name of a source device is specified in Edit Name. In addition, it is best to rename the source device in Edit Name to obtain optimal picture quality. If the display TV source is active (TV tuner connected to the display) the Source AutoSwitch search function becomes inactive. The display will remain in the TV source.

3 Using MDC MDC (Multiple Display Control) is an application that allows you to easily control multiple display devices simultaneously using a PC. 3.1 Configuring Settings for Multi Control Assign an individual ID to your product. 3.1.1 Configuring settings for Multi Control This product can only be controlled by using the remote control. 1 2 Press MENU on the remote control. Press z / to move to Multi Control and press [ ]. ID Setup Assign an ID to a set.
3 3.3 Using MDC MDC Program Installation/Uninstallation 3.3.1 Installation 1 2 Insert the installation CD into the CD-ROM drive. Click the MDC System installation program. If a software installation window is not displayed on the main screen, install with the MDC System execution file under the MDC folder in the CD. 3 4 5 6 Click "Next" in the displayed Installation Wizard screen. Click "Yes" in the displayed "License Agreement" window.
3 Using MDC 3.3.2 Uninstallation 1 2 Select Settings > Control Panel on the Start menu and double-click Add/Delete Program. Select MDC System from the list and click Change/Remove. MDC installation can be affected by the graphics card, mother board and network conditions.
3 3.4 Using MDC Using the MDC Program (Serial MDC) Serial data transmission standard RS-232C is used for communication between a PC and display device. Connect an RS-232C serial cable to the serial ports on the PC and display. 3.4.1 Starting MDC To start the MDC program, click Start>Programs>Samsung>MDC System>MDC System. 3 Using MDC z Changes will only be applied to displays that are powered on. z HDMI1, HDMI2, DP, BNC, or S-Video mode may not be available depending on the product. z Magicinfo only functions on products that have the MagicInfo function. z TV is only enabled on products that have the TV function. Channel adjustment is only available in TV mode. Image Size Click "Image Size" to configure preferences. When connected in PC, DVI mode: Click PC Source and change the aspect ratio.
3 Using MDC When connected in TV, AV, Component, DVI(HDCP) or DTV mode: Click Video Source and change the aspect ratio. You can specify Image Size and Screen Mode. 3 Using MDC 3.4.3 Troubleshooting Guide Issue The display you want to control does not appear on the system information chart. Solution 1. Check the connection of the RS232C cable (check that the cable is properly connected to port Com1). 2. Check that another display with a duplicate ID is not connected. Connecting displays with a duplicate ID can cause the displays not to be shown due to data collision. 3. Check that the display ID is within the range of 0 and 99.
