Rotate the control wheel to adjust the
volume or brightness. You can also use
the control wheel to enter a specific
value while using S Health or setting
an alarm.

Connecting the Gear to a
mobile device
For the best results, connect your Gear
to a mobile device with the Samsung
Gear app installed on it.

Turn on the Gear.

Launch Samsung Gear.

Tap CONNECT GEAR.

When the Bluetooth pairing
request window appears, tap OK.

Read the on-screen instructions
and approve the connection.

Follow the on-screen instructions
to complete the connection.

Charging the battery
Before using the device for the first
time, you must charge the battery.
The charger should remain close

Waking up the Gear and
activating sleep mode
While you are wearing the Gear, it
recognises when you raise your wrist
and displays the Clock screen.
To activate sleep mode, cover the
screen with your palm.
