WARNING
Do not use any dock or any other accessory or attachment that is not manufactured or supplied by SmarTerminal or
an authorized SmarTerminal accessories supplier.
Use of any accessory or attachment that is not supplied or approved for use with the TiTAN T8 by SmarTerminal is
not permitted because it may cause hazards.
Operate the TiTAN T8 only from the type of power source indicated on the marking label Route power supply cords
so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against them.
Pay particular attention to cords at plugs and convenience receptacles, and at the point where cords exit from the
TiTAN T8 or its dock. Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords, or integral convenience receptacles because this
can cause fire or electric shock.
Unplug the TiTAN T8 and refer the TiTAN T8 and dock for service to qualified service personnel if any of the following
conditions occur:
■ The power supply cord or plug is damaged.
■ The TiTAN T8 or dock does not operate normally when you follow the instructions in this book.
■ The TiTAN T8 or dock exhibits a distinct change in performance.
Adjust only controls for which there are instructions in this book.
An improper adjustment of other controls can result in damage and may require extensive work by a qualified
technician to restore the TiTAN T8 or dock to normal operation.
CAUTION
Avoid prolonged physical contact with the exposed metal surfaces on the front and back of the TiTAN T8.
Operation while the TiTAN T8 may not feel hot to the touch, be careful when you remove a PC card that has been
used for a long time, because the card may be hot.
