Video servers convert video, audio, and binary signals into Ethernet-network streams, making them
available over long distances. Without the applicable protective housing, video servers which are not
ATEX certified must not be installed in explosion risk areas (q.v. ExConnection Rail Series).
All SAMCON video servers are 100% compatible with all analog cameras of the ExCam
®
Series, as
well as with our video management system SAMCONtrol.
