Self Tests
1. Select SELF TEST from the S-MODE PROGRAMMING MENU to display the H/W
TEST Screen.
2. Choose an item from the menu in one of two ways:
Type the number for your choice and press ENTER, or
Press the or keys to move the cursor to your choice and press ENTER.

PRESS ANY KEY TO RETURN
1. Select SERIAL &
IRC LOOPBACK
from the H/W TEST
MENU.
2. Power off the register
and install a loop
back connector at the
port(s) you wish to
test.
3. The display will
indicate PASS/FAIL
for each port. Refer
to "Loop Back
Connections" in the
"Appendix" for
information about
making a loop back
test connector.
4. Press any key to
return to the H/W
TEST MENU.
