Quick Start Step #1: Unpacking
1. Unpack and unwrap the cash register.
2. Locate in the packing the following items:
• 1 roll of paper
• 1 rewind spindle
• 2 sets of control keys
3. Remove the cardboard protectors from the cash drawer.
4. Plug the register into a grounded outlet (three-prong), turn the power switch on,
insert a control key and turn the key to the REG control lock position.
Quick Start Step #2: Installing the Paper
1. Remove the printer cover.
2. For proper feeding through the print head, cut or tear a straight even edge on the end
of the paper roll. (Be sure to remove any paper with glue residue.) Place the paper
roll in the paper holder so that the paper will feed from the bottom of the roll.
