Safety

The cross-bolt safety is the small bolt
located directly behind the trigger. This
bolt is marked with a red ring on the left
side of the gun.
Safety on: Push the bolt completely to
the right so the red ring is not visible.
The gun is now on safe.
Safety off: Push the bolt to the left from
the right side of the gun so the red ring
appears. The gun is now off the safety.
This allows the trigger to be pulled and
the gun to be red.
Keep the air ri e on SAFE until you're ready to shoot, then push the safety OFF.

TIP: To become familiar with the safety,
practice putting it on and off several
times.

Installing cocking bolt
Pointyourrieinasafedirectionatalltimes.
With the ri e’s safety disengaged and the front sight on your left, insert a 1/4-inch
hex key or screwdriver into the cutout in the hammer tube (right side of receiver).
Push the hammer back to the rst click (low-power position—see “Cocking/
uncocking your ri e” on page 10).
Insert the cocking bolt and line up its opening with the screw hole in the hammer.
With a No. 2 Philips screwdriver, install the included 4mm screw. Tighten securely.
The trigger is non-adjustable.
