Sakrete ShapeCrete is an easy-to-use, high performance, shape-able concrete
that can be rolled and molded, pushed or poured into any shape imaginable. It’s
fun. Like playing with clay, and yet it cures rock-hard and is durable within 24
hours without oven baking or kiln-firing.
SAFETY FIRST: WEAR GLOVES, SAFETY GLASSES AND PROTECTIVE
CLOTHING AT ALL TIMES. WEAR A DUST MASK WHEN MEASURING
AND MIXING DRY SHAPECRETE.

YIELD/WATER/COVERAGE:
One 20 lb. (9.1kg) pail of ShapeCrete will produce enough material to make a
2’ x 2’ x 1/2” (61 cm x 61 cm x 1.3 cm) thick object or a 1’ x 1’ x 2” (30 cm x
30 cm x 5 cm) thick object. See ShapeCretemix.com for project calculator.

TECHNICAL DATA:
NOTE: Test results are with ShapeCrete mixed at 14% water (approximately 4:1 powder to water ratio)
WORKING TIME:
After water has been added to the mix, there is approximately 30 minutes to
60 minutes of working time at room temperature 72°F (18°C). To re-temper
ShapeCrete after 20 minutes of working with the mix, re-agitate the mixture by
stirring with a putty knife or by adding small amounts of water to make it more
pliable or fluid.

PREPARATION/APPLICATION:
For best results all materials should be stored between 50°F (10°C) and 80°F
(27°C) 24 hours prior to installation.
NOTE: It is the responsibility of the installer/applicator to ensure the suitability of the product for its
intended use.
GARDEN OBJECTS:
1. Build up a mound of sand, cover with plastic
2. Place leaf on with veining up.
3. Pack clay-like mix onto the leaf to desired thickness 1/4” - 1/2”
(.64 - 1.3 cm)
PLANTERS:
1. Pack ShapeCrete on an inflatable ball.
2. Sculpt the surface with clay tools
3. Make a small drainage hole in the bottom to build up the feet.
VESSELS:
1. On a piece of fabric, roll out ShapeCrete to a uniform thickness.
2. Wait 10 minutes, then drape fabric into a bowl.
3. Smooth cracks and cure overnight
ADDRESS TILES:
1. Mix ShapeCrete to a pourable consistency.
2. Cast thin address numbers and tiles.
3. Use rubber shapes to create voids and textures.
NOTE: ShapeCrete takes 24 hours to set. Do not handle or remove from mold until after 24 hours.
MIXING:
Clay Like Mix:
1. Mix 4 parts of ShapeCrete to approximately 1 part of water.
2. Use less water for a stiff, yet malleable clay-like consistency ideal for
sculpting, hand-packing and free-form applications.
