A mixture of cementitious materials, sand and special additives. For

stopping the ﬂ ow of water through breaks in concrete or masonry walls

or ﬂ oors. Can be used to stop leaks underwater. DO NOT use as paint or

trowel applied waterproﬁ ng.

SAFETY:

READ and UNDERSTAND the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) before using

this product. WARNING: Wear protective clothing and equipment. See HMIS

527-3887 (outside USA). KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

PREPARATION:

Cut out hole or crack to minimum depth and width of ¾ inches. Clean area to

be patched and remove all unsound concrete. A wire brush is useful in scrap-

ing away all loose material.

MIXING:

SAKRETE

Leak Stopper sets in 2-3 minutes. Do not mix more

than can be placed in 1 ½ minutes. Do not apply to frozen surfaces or

when air temperatures are below freezing. Mix SAKRETE® Leak Stopper

with clean water at the rate of 3 parts powder to 1 part water. Mix to a

putty or dough like consistency.

PLACEMENT:

When repairing ACTIVE LEAKS (running water), hold the

mixed material in a waterproof gloved hand and wait until the material

becomes warm to the touch or begins to stiffen. At this time, force

the material into the opening with the palm of the hand and

hold in place for 3-5 minutes. This will help ensure a complete set

and sufﬁ cient bond to stop the ﬂ ow of water. When repairing

INACTIVE LEAKS (no running water), thoroughly soak the area

to be patched. Apply material with a trowel smoothing the patch

even with surrounding surface.

FINISHING: Immediately after the material stiffens smooth off with a trowel

to the desired ﬁ nish.

CURING:

Do not allow the material to dry out during the ﬁ rst 24 hours

after application.

STORAGE:

Store in a tightly closed container off the ﬂ oor in a dry place.

Dispose of construction debris containing cement, including empty bags, at a permitted municipal disposal ﬁrm. Do not use crushed concrete as a ﬁll near an aquatic habitat. WARNING!
