Preparation:
For best results all materials should be stored between 60°F (16°C) and
80°F (27°C) 24 hours prior to installation.
1. Surface must be clean, dry and free from all contaminants that will interfere
with bonding.
2. When used to fill cracks or joints they should be a minimum of 1/4”
(6 mm) wide and 1/4” (6 mm) deep and a maximum of 1/2” (13 mm) deep.
3. Deeper cracks should be filled with backer rod first.
4. Do not use around silicone sealants.
Application:
1. Cut tube nozzle to desired bead width and puncture seal at the inside base
of the tip.
2. Using a caulking gun squeeze onto the surface to be bonded.
3. Adhesive should be applied when surface and air temperatures are between
41
0
F (5°C) and 95
0
F (35°C).
Clean up:
Clean with MEK or acetone before sealant has cured. Cured material must be
removed by mechanical means.
Curing:
Adhesive remains tacky for up to 2 hours and fully cures in 7 days.
Precautions:
• Gloves are recommended to be worn during application.
• Protect from rain for 24 hours and from freezing for 48 hours
NOTE: Proper application and installation of all Sakrete products are the responsibility of the end user.
