7 CUSTOM ACTIONS FOR MISSION BUILDERS
The DodoSim 206 FSX implements several custom actions which can be utilised by FSX mission
builders to expand the user experience to include failures specific to the DodoSim 206 FSX:
1. DodoSim_ForceTimerFailures_ON – This switches the helicopter into Timer failure mode, (as
opposed to Cumulative Wear mode), so that engine, main and tail transmission systems can be
failed without effecting the user’s wear and damage persistent data.
2. DodoSim_FreeTimerFailures – This resets the failure mode to whatever the previous user setting
was.
3. DodoSim_ForceFailureHints_OFF – This prevents the failure hints from being displayed at the
top of the screen informing the user when a system has failed or wear is occurring.
4. DodoSim_FreeFailureHints – This resets the failure hints setting to whatever the user’s previous
setting was.
5. DodoSim_ForceDifficulty_1 – Forces difficulty level 1.
6. DodoSim_ForceDifficulty_2 – Forces difficulty level 2.
7. DodoSim_ForceDifficulty_3 – Forces difficulty level 3.
8. DodoSim_ForceDifficulty_4 – Forces difficulty level 4.
9. DodoSim_ForceDifficulty_5 – Forces difficulty level 5.
10. DodoSim_FreeDifficulty – Resets the difficulty level to the user’s previous setting.
11. DodoSim_SetFlameOutFailure – Causes the engine to cease combustion.
12. DodoSim_ClearFlameOutFailure – Clears the engine flame-out failure. (It still requires the user
to manual restart the engine themselves.)
13. DodoSim_SetStuckPedalsFailure – Instigates the stuck pedal failure.
14. DodoSim_ClearStuckPedalsFailure – Clears the stuck pedal failure.
15. DodoSim_SetHydraulicsFailure – Instigates the hydraulics (control boost) failure.
16. DodoSim_ClearHydraulicsFailure – Clears the hydraulics failure.
17. DodoSim_SetEngineMechanicalFailure – Instigates the engine mechanical failure.
18. DodoSim_ClearEngineMechanicalFailure – Clears the engine mechanical failure.
19. DodoSim_SetMainTransmissionMechanicalFailure – Instigates the main transmission (clutch)
mechanical failure.
20. DodoSim_ClearMainTransmissionMechanicalFailure – Clears the main transmission
mechanical failure.
21. DodoSim_SetTailTransmissionMechanicalFailure – Instigates the tail transmission mechanical
failure.
22. DodoSim_ClearTailTransmissionMechanicalFailure – Clears the tail transmission mechanical
failure.
