Intelligent Spectrometer Qualification (iSQ)
Consisting of a motorized filter wheel containing a set of calibrated filters, the iSQ module
is mounted in the instrument, and is driven by the software to provide a suite of automated
system performance checks on iCE 3000 Series spectrometers:
• Wavelength Accuracy
• Photometric Stability
• Monochromator Resolution
• D2 Background Correction Accuracy
• Lamp Peaking Test
• Beam Selector Movement Test
• Polarizer Orientation and Repeatability Test (for Zeeman instruments only)
The kit is comprised of a V
alidation log book and hardware package providing all necessary
documentation and accessories required to permit the comprehensive validation of the
spectrometer by a service engineer, at the point of installation and post-installation.
