INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1
Using weather-resistant fasteners,
attach BASE channel side up
around the area to be screened.
STEP 2
Position SCREENING starting at
the top. When positioning screen,
overlap the channel at least one inch.
This extra material will be pushed into
the channel with the spline, giving the
spline greater holding power
STEP 3
Roll SPLINE into the channel
with SCREENMASTER 2-in-
1 tool. Each base has two
channels so that you can roll
screen at both sides of a single
base: top and bottom or left
and right. Use the knife end of the
Screenmaster 2-in-1 tool to cut the spline
to length.
If using the base to hold two screens, repeat steps 2 and
3 with the second screen before installing cap.
STEP 4
Trim screen and snap CAP in place. Trim
the excess screening using the knife end of the
Screenmaster 2-in-1 tool.

BASE
UV-grade vinyl with two spline channels. Available
in 1½ inch (38 mm) and 3½ inch (89 mm) wide by
8 foot (2.4 m) long sections.
SCREENMASTER 2-IN-1 TOOL
Convenient two-sided tool with a spline roller on
one side and, on the other, a retractible knife with
a curved blade to cut spline and trim screen.
SPLINE
.175” x 300’ (4.4mm x 91.4 m) spline [in a bulk box
with a handle for easy carrying].
CAP
UV-grade vinyl with a paintable surface. Available
in 1½ inch (38 mm) and 3½ inch (89 mm) wide by
8 foot (2.4 m) long sections in three popular colors:
bone white, desert sand, and cocoa.
PORCH & PATIO SCREEN
New York Wire Porch and Patio screen is weather-
resistant heavy duty screen especially suited for
use in large exterior spaces. Its protective vinyl
coating provides long-lasting color and exibility
while avoiding stretching, shrinking or changes in
appearance in extreme temperatures, even in salt
air. Available in 25 foot (7.6m) length rolls in
60 inches (1.52m) and 72in (1.83m) widths.
