5.2 – MASTER/SLAVE MODE WITH CABLE
In this mode, more units can be linked together as a single chain and work in a synchronized
way, by using a DMX cable
• Switch OFF all the wireless circuits (W-Switch=OFF)
• Link together all the units from the connector DMX OUT to DMX IN.
• Define the first unit of the chain as MASTER, all other units must be set in SLAVE mode.
• Operate the Master unit in Automatic mode or Static mode to operate the entire system.
The entire chain of Slave unit will act as the Master unit
5.3 –MASTER/SLAVE MODE WITH WIRELESS (only SG IPLED32CDLWD)
In this mode, more units can be linked together as a single chain and work in a synchronized
way, by using the wireless circuit
1. Switch ON all the wireless circuits (W-Switch=ON) and disconnect all the cables between
projectors
2. The first time that the wireless chain is generated, it is suggested to Unlink all the projectors
in order to be sure to start in the default configuration.
3. Set all the projectors in SLAVE mode (Slave – ENTER and return to the main menu until the
display shows “Run Mode SLAVE”
4. Now select the Master projector and set one of the automatic modes
5. Return to the main menu until the display shows “Run Mode AUTO”
6. Again on the master go into the submenu FUNCTION – Link and press ENTER
7. Return again in the main menu until the display shows “Run Mode AUTO”. All the SLAVE
units will link to the master and will follow the Master automatic mode
8. In case of faulty link, repeat points 4-5-6-7 for the master projector or points 2-3 for each
slave
