5.2 - CONNECTION TO THE DMX CHAIN
The connection to the DMX chain can be done only via the transceiver SG AIRBOX sold
separately.
- Connect the SG AIRBOX to the DMX console and set it up as transmitter (TX) by pressing
down the green button
- All the projectors must be linked to the transmitter, by following the next steps:
1. After the projector is switched on, and if there are no new transmitter, the projector
will connect to the old transmitter automatically.
2. If the projector has to be linked to a new transmitter, it needs to clear the old wireless
settings:
a. Enter in WIRELESS RESET menu.
b. Select RESET and press ENTER.
c. In about 5 seconds there will be the reset.
3. In order to link the projector and the new transmitter, press and release PAIRING
button on the transmitter. The display, after flashing, then stay on and the pair
success.
It is possible to remove at the same time, the wireless link between a group of projectors and
their transmitter: press and hold for about 5 seconds the PAIRING button on the transmitter
and release when the relative status led blinks. The wireless link in all the projectors will be
removed (Wireless statue LED indicator off).

The projector is receiving wireless DMX signal from the
transmitter or from a Master in a Master/Slave chain.
Display flashing
The projector is unlinked or not receiving signal from DMX
chain or Master.
To connect the transmitter to a DMX console, use a cable conforming to specifications EIA RS-
485: pole twisted, shielded, 120Ohm characteristic impedance and low capacity (SAGITTER SG
DMX3 – SG DMX5).
Do not use microphone cable or other cable with different characteristics than those specified.
Terminations must be made with male / female XLR 3-pin connectors. You must enter on the
last device a terminal plug with a 120Ohm resistance (min1 / 4 W) between terminals 2 and 3.
IMPORTANT: The cables must not come into contact with each other or with the metal housing
of the connectors. The housing itself must be connected to the shield braid and to pin 1 of the
connectors.
