8.3.10 WhisperShoutInterrogationCommandMessage:Type0xB0
The Whisper Shout Interrogation Command is a message from Host Computer to the Range Finder, sent to
startaWhisperShoutinterrogationsequence.Thepayloadcontainsfivebytes.Thefirstbytecommandsthe
interrogationtostop,orsetsthetypeofinterrogation.TheRangeFinderwillrespondwithanACK,indicating
whether or not the Whisper Shout interrogation command will be executed (commands sent before the
previousinterrogationcompleteswillnotbeexecuted).Ifthecommandis executed, rangewill be calculated
from the responses, and the target replies and ranges will be output in the appropriate Interrogation
Responsemessage.
Note
that all but the last Range Finder Whisper‐Shout interrogations must be between 9 dBm and 55 dBm,
inclusive.Thelastinterrogationmustbebetween1and55dBm,inclusive.
