Theoperatingmessage:
Sets squawk code (Mode A/4096 Code), altitude data (if desired), heading, airspeed, Range Finder
mode,andpowerupstate,andactivatestheIDENTfunction.
MustbesenttotheRangeFinderperiodically(between1and5hertz).
Note: The Range Finder’s integrated pressure altitude sensor and
encoder provide the
Range Finder with pressure altitude data in the expected format and with the required
accuracy. You can elect to use altitude data from an external source. However, Sagetech
recommends that you configure the Range Finder to use the pressure altitude source
integratedwiththeRangeFinder(thedefaultsetting).
