- ACTIVATE / DEACTIVATE : to select a status.
- PREFIX : to enter the number giving you access to the outside line.
- EDIT LENGTH : to specify the «digits before prefix».
• To modify the prefix, select PREFIX, press OK.
• Enter the prefix using the keypad, press OK.
• To modify the digits before prefix, select EDIT LENGTH, press OK.
• Enter the digits before prefix using the keypad, press OK.
9.8. MESSAGING SYSTEM NUMBER (ACCORDING TO OPERATOR)
This feature allows you to receive calls in your absence on switched telephone network
voicemail.
To inform you of the arrival of a new message, the voicemail icon is displayed, and the “NEW
EVENTS!” message is displayed on the screen and the light flashes.
•Go to SETTINGS / VOICE BOX No.
• The programmed number is displayed on the screen.
-Press OK of the number is correct.
-Press Edit. to change the number.
Press to erase digit by digit. Enter the new number, press OK.
10. ANSWERING MACHINE
Your telephone’s answering machine comes with three answering modes:
- Answer only: callers cannot leave you a message and an OGM informs them of your
unavailability.
- Answer and record: an OGM invites your callers to leave messages.
- Answering machine that can be queried remotely (refer to paragraph “Remote access
to answering machine”, page 32).
Your phone’s answering machine provides the following features :
- Active answering machine mode with pre-recorded messages.
- Call filtering,
- Privileged access.
10.1. ENABLING/DISABLING THE ANSWERING MACHINE
•Go to ANS. MACH / ON / OFF.
• A screen displays the current status of the answering machine (answer only, answer
and record or off).
- To keep the displayed status, press OK.
To check your voice messaging service, hold down key .
You voice mail number is factory set (1571 as default).
