8.3. ACTIVATING/DEACTIVATING THE SILENT MODE
When in silent mode, the telephone ringer and keypad beeps are inhibited.
•Go to RING TONE / SILENT MODE.
•Press Yes to activate the silent mode or No to deactivate.

9.1. MODIFYING THE DATE AND TIME
•Go to SETTINGS / DATE/TIME.
• Enter the date in DD/MM/AA format, press OK.
• Enter the time in HH : MM format, press OK.
9.2. ADJUSTING THE CONTRAST
•Go to SETTINGS / CONTRAST.
• A list with five levels of contrast is displayed.
• Select the level you want using the keys  ou . The contrast is directly visible on
the screen.
•Press OK when you have obtained a satisfactory level.
9.3. MANAGE STORED NUMBERS
Your CC220R phone has 11 direct access memory keys.
Memory keys , and and the keypad keys (2
~ 9) on your phone allow you to save
the phone numbers you call regularly and you want to access quickly. Each of these keys can
store a single number.
9.3.1. CALLING A STORED NUMBER
• Pick up the phone; you should hear a dial tone.
• Briefly press the memory button ( , or ) or hold down the keypad key (2
~ 9)
on which the number was recorded.
• The phone number is dialled automatically.
OR
• Press . The phone goes into speakerphone mode.
• Leave the handset on its base.
• Briefly press the memory button ( , or ) or hold down the keypad key (2
~ 9)
on which the number was recorded; the number is dialled automatically.
When you activate the silent mode, all the alarm based functions will be muted
(Timer, Alarm, Birthday).
