Important Information about the Sagemcom
®
Mini Sound Box MSBDV00
Safe Usage Instructions:
1.
Place the product on a flat surface.
2.
Connect the manufacturer supplied AC to DC power adapter. The Sagemcom Mini Sound Box
MSBDV00 requires the use of a 20 VDC, 2 A power adapter in compliance with PS2 and LPS of annex
Q of UL 62368-1 Edition 2. Only use a manufacturer supplied and approved power adapter. Always
first plug the mains adapter lead into the Sagemcom Mini Sound Box MSBDV00, then the power cord
into the adapter, and finally power cord into the wall socket. If you do not follow this order of
connections you may get an electric shock. Make sure that the power cord is properly inserted into the
power supply unit, and that it is correctly pushed into the recess. If it is incorrectly connected this may
cause a risk of fire or electric shock.

Connect the power adapter to the AC wall socket in accordance with the markings on the identification
label
(voltage, current, and frequency of electricity network).
When using this device, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire,
electric shock, and injury to persons including the following:

Do not use this product near water and avoid contact with moisture. For example, do not use near a
bathtub, wash bowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool. Care
should be taken so that liquids are not spilled on this equipment.

This equipment is for indoor use only, do not place or install in an outdoor location.
6.
This equipment must be used at altitudes below 5000m (16,400 ft).

This equipment should only be operated from the type of power supply (Voltage and Current) indicated
on the marking label.

Do not overload wall outlets or extension cords. Doing so can result in the risk of fire or electrical
shock.

Avoid blocking any vent openings or exhaust exits on this equipment. Do not place equipment in a
built-in installation such as a cabinet that may impede the flow of air through the ventilation openings.

The equipment should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or
other heat producing appliances and equipment.

Care should be taken to ensure that the power cord is routed, so it is not likely to be walked on or
pinched by items placed upon or next to it.

Unplug this equipment before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use a damp
cloth for cleaning only.
13.
This equipment is not user serviceable and is to be serviced by qualified personnel only. Do not
disassemble this equipment. If service is required, disconnect all power from the equipment and
consult qualified service personnel.

To disconnect this equipment from AC power, unplug the power supply from the AC wall socket.
15.
Do not use the telephone to report a gas leak in the vicinity of the leak.
16.
Make sure the power socket to which you connect the power cord is easily accessible and as close as
possible to the equipment so that the appliance can be unplugged quickly in case of a problem.
17.
If placed in direct contact with a heat-sensitive piece of furniture, product may alter its color or surface.
18.
To avoid possible hearing damage, do not listen at a high level for a long time.
