SHUTDOWN RESTRICTIONS
When attempting to close the MPE, if it is not in the Idle state (indicated in the Status
Bar), the following message will be displayed:
INITIALIZATION
Every time the MPE is run, it must initialize. The first step of initialization is reading the
AccessData security device to verify the
MPE license. If the MPE license is not present,
expired, or the security device is missing, the following message will be displayed in the
log:
“CodeMeter license is missing or invalid.”
If th
e security device is plugged in and the
MPE license is present, the following
message will be displayed in the log:
“CodeMeter license is avtivated.”
DEVICE DETECTION
Once a correct device driver is installed for a supported phone, that phone can be
detected by the
MPE. To detect phones select Phone > Detect Devices > Supported Phones or
click Detect Devices on the toolbar.
