 Select the NORMAL or DARK option using the and keys. Press ENTER.
Character tilt for the Courier/Letter Gothic fonts
Character tilt can be set when the default font is Courier or Letter Gothic.
MENU - - FONT - > - - FONT SELECT - > - - PITCH
 Press ENTER, a blinking cursor appears. Use the and keys to increment or decrement the
selected figure and the < and > keys to move the cursor to the left or the right (the font size is
between 0.44 and 99.99 in increments of 0.01). Press E
NTER.
Character encoding
You can change the character encoding. The available character encoding varies depending on the
current font. (The default character encoding is IBM PC-8.).
MENU - - FONT - > - - CODE SET
 Press ENTER, a blinking "?" appears.
 Select the desired character encoding using the and keys. Press ENTER.
Number of Copies
VYou can programme the number of copies to be printed for each interface. The number of copies must
be between 1 and 999.
MENU - - PAGE SET > - - COPIES
 Press ENTER, a blinking cursor appears. Use the and keys to increment or decrement the
selected figure and the < and > keys to move the cursor to the left or the right Press E
NTER.
Page orientation
You can choose the default page orientation for printing to either landscape or portrait.
MENU - - PAGE SET - > - - ORIENTATION
 Press ENTER, a blinking "?" appears.
 Select PORTRAIT or LANDSCAPE using the and keys. Press ENTER.
