In PPP mode
The modem is synchronized but the PPP link with your Internet access provider (IAP) is not set up;
check:
- that the PPP "username" and "password" that you entered are those given to you by your Internet
access provider (IAP),
- that the VPI/VCI parameters and encapsulation mode match those of your Internet access
provider (IAP). If not, contact your IAP.
In DHCP mode
The modem is synchronized but does not receive an IP address from the network; check:
- that the VPI/VCI parameters and encapsulation mode match those of your Internet access
provider (IAP). If not, contact your IAP.
