5.3.1.2 WAN Setup
Object: This function is for setting up the wide area network (WAN) access interface.
Select the WAN Setup tab.
The screen opposite appears.
The following fields are common to all the protocols.
Field Meaning
VPI
Enter a VPI value between 0 and 255.
VCI
Enter a VCI value between 6 and 65535 (apart from 16).
Encapsulation
Mode
Select one of the two proposed encapsulation modes (LLC or
VC Multiplexing).
Depending on the protocol chosen, the number of fields to be completed differs.
You must therefore select a protocol mode before completing the various fields.
