Field Meaning
Modem State
Three possible cases:
(Writing in green): Normal operation.
(Writing in yellow): The modem is connecting
to the Internet.
(Writing in red): The ADSL line is
disconnected.
WAN IP Address
Displays the Public IP address (WAN) assigned to the
modem/router.
This field may be empty when the modem/router is in
negotiation mode or the ADSL line is not connected.
ADSL Line Status
Two possible cases:
: indicates that the ADSL link is
set up and also the supported ADSL standard.
: indicates that the ADSL link is not set up (line
disconnected, for example).
VPI / VCI Displays the VPI supplied by your Internet Service Provider
(ISP).
Displays the VCI supplied by your Internet Service Provider
(ISP).
Encapsulation Displays the encapsulation supplied by your Internet Service
Provider (ISP).
Two possible cases:
VC : Virtual Channel (Encapsulation without header).
LCC : Logical Link Control (Encapsulation with header).
