Settings

Options
] on the selected name of a device lets you access the following options:

Delete
: this is used to delete the device. WARNING: using this function needs
starting the pairing over again.

Rename
: this is used to modify the name of the device.

Delete all
: this is used to delete all your devices. WARNING: using this function
needs starting the pairing over again.

Activate
: this is used to activate the connection with the device.

Deactivate
: this is used to deactivate the connection with the device.

Properties
: this is used to display the list of the device's Bluetooth
®
services.
Notes:
- Refer to the user manual of the device with which you are pairing to find out how
to set this device to the mode allowing this operation.
- The code of the remote device may be predefined by the device manufacturer. In
this case, refer to the user manual of this device to find out this code.
Bluetooth
®
name
This is the name used to identify your phone when it is detected by another
Bluetooth
®
device.
Network
This menu allows you to configure network preferences.

Selection:
to activate (automatically or Manual) one of the networks accessible in
the area in which your are located.

Preferred:
to view all the pre-registered networks.

Network type:
to select your network: GSM-DCS, PCS or Automatic.

GPRS:
to select the way you want to be connected on the GPRS network: always,
or only when needed (when launching a data connection).
Java
This menu allows you to set various parameters to download Java. applications. It
allows you to display the memory available for Java. applications.
Browser
This menu allows you to set various parameters needed for WAP connection.
Profiles
This menu allows you to select or modify your provider’s configuration settings or to
configure others providers’ settings.
