Butterflied Tandori Spatchcocks

2 cups of Greek yogurt (natural unsweetened)
5cm piece of fresh ginger grated finely
1 whole lemon juiced
½ cup of olive oil
2 tablespoons of Garam masala
2 tablespoons ground coriander
2 tablespoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1 tablespoon ground turmeric
Method
Mix all ingredients together. Add chicken
and coat well in the mixture.
Refrigerate overnight.
Remove chicken from marinade, wiping o
the excess. Place chicken in baking pan.
Position wire rack in the bottom rack height
position.
Turn FUNCTION dial to ROAST setting.
Turn TIME dial to minutes.
Turn TEMPERATURE dial to C
CONVECTION. Press the START button.
When preheating has completed, place
baking pan on wire rack and roast chicken in
the oven for minutes.
Once cooking is finished, remove spatchcocks
from oven, cover loosely in foil and allow to
rest for minutes before carving.
Tip
Chicken can be cooked straight away in step .
However, for optimal flavour, marinating overnight
is recommended.
