OPERATING YOUR NEW APPLIANCE BEFORE FIRST USE Remove any promotional material attached to your kettle. It is recommended that before first use, the kettle is filled to the maximum level with cold tap water, boiled and water discarded. OPERATION OF YOUR KETTLE To fill the kettle, remove it from the power base and open lid by pressing the lid release button. Fill with the desired amount of water. NOTE Always fill the kettle between the minimum (500ml) and maximum (1700ml) marks on the water window.
CARE & CLEANING Always switch ‘off’ at the power outlet and unplug the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning. 1. Empty one sachet (25g) into 1 litre of warm water, stir to dissolve. REMOVABLE FILTER The kettle features a removable mesh filter to remove scale deposits for cleaner water. To remove the scale deposits from the filter, open the lid and slide the filter up and out of the kettle. The filter can be cleaned by running under hot water and rubbing with a cleaning cloth or brush.
