Setting Private Data Caching
In SafeNet Authentication Client, public information stored on the token is cached to enhance
performance. This option defines when private information (excluding private keys on the physical
token) can be cached outside the token.
To set private data caching:
1 Open
SafeNet Authentication Client Tools

2 Click the Advanced View icon.
3 In the left pane of the
Advanced View
window, expand the required token and select Settings.
4 In the right pane select the Advanced tab.
5 In the
Private data caching
field select one of the following options:
Option Description
Always (fastest) Always caches private information in the
application memory. This enables fast
performance, as certain information is
cached on the host machine. However,
this option is less secure than if no cache
is allowed.
