Analysis Tools
Check Encode/Decode cards - Click this button to run a simple test on the
video compression hardware. This is useful if a camera is not showing a signal or if the
system appears to not see as many cameras as it should. An Airship Client may include a
decoder card as an option to improve live view performance. Encoders are not usually used
in an Airship Client. If the correct number of channels is not shown, please contact Technical
Support for further assistance.
Test DirectX - This button launches Microsoft DirectX Diagnostic. We can use
this to export a system information file that is useful in troubleshooting and make sure the
Video Card is working properly. If this program reports any error on the Display tab, please
contact Technical Support for further assistance.
System Info - This opens the Windows System Information program, which can
provide valuable troubleshooting information.
Managers - This opens the Windows Computer Manager, which includes the
Device Manager and other Windows system internals that may be needed for
troubleshooting or repairs.
