Ping
The Ping tab on the Tools submenu allows system administrators to ping other network devices
from the SAFARI Montage server. Enter the relevant information and hit ‘Ping.’
Reboot and Shut Down
The Reboot and Shut Down tab on the Tools submenu allows system administrators to reboot or
shut down the SAFARI Montage server. SAFARI Montage can be connected to a keyboard,
mouse and monitor, or it can be run as an independent appliance. If SAFARI Montage is being
operated as an independent appliance, without a keyboard, mouse and monitor, use the reboot
and shut down web page from within the ‘Admin’ section. DO NOT power your SAFARI
Montage unit down by removing the power cord from the wall outlet, the rear of the appliance,
or by holding in the power button.
