Remove magazine and check to
make sure pistol is unloaded.
Move the slide back a little until
the takedown notch is just above
the slide stop tab.
Remove the slide stop by pulling
it straight out - it can be started
by pressing on the end that pro-
trudes from the opposite side of
the frame.
