Remove the slide stop by pulling
it straight out -
it can be started
by pressing on the end that pro-
trudes from the opposite side of
the frame.
Remove entire top end of pistol
by moving it forward off the
frame.
The recoil system will lift out as a
unit from the underside of the
barrel.
Rotate barrel bushing counter-
clockwise.
Flip barrel link forward toward
muzzle.
Remove barrel and bushing by
pulling them out of the end of
the slide.
Leave the hammer cocked.
Your Matchmaster” with “cap-
tive” guide rod is now disassem-
bled for cleaning. No further dis-
assembly is necessary.
