OPERATING IN CHIME MODE
1. To
activate
CHIME
mode,

CHIME
position
.
2.
Enter the 4-digit User Access Code. The alarm will beep as each digit is entered. A door chime
soundwill indicate that the User Access Code is correct and thesystem has armed.
3.
The
alarm
wi
ll
produce
a
door
c
h
i
m
e
sound
each
time
the
door
is
opened
and
the
magnet
is
moved
away
from
the
alarm.
4.
To
deact

va
te
the

me

ide
the
ALARM/CHIME
switch
to
ALARM
mode
.
TESTING
It
is
recommended
that
the
alarm
is
tested
i
mmediatel
y
after
i
nstallation
and
at
regular
i
ntervals
not
exceeding
1
month.
Note: A cloth can be used to cover the siren and reduce the sound output of the alarm during testing.

Do not allow the batteries to corrode and leak as this may cause permanent damage to the product.
Take care to insert the batteries with the correct polarity as shown inside the battery compartment.
Do not mix new and old batteries or different types of batteries.Do not use rechargeable batteries.
