S&S roller lifters come pre oiled and must be allowed to bleed down for proper lifter adjustment before rotating motor over. Failure to

allow lifters to bleed down for proper adjustment before rotating motor will cause the valves to move past their intended travel and

could cause coil bound springs, damaged seals or even bent valves.

 
