C. Removal of Existing Ignition Components

Prior to installation, disconnect and remove the battery, negative cable rst. This will eliminate potential sparks and inadvertent

engagement of the starter while working on the motorcycle.

Be careful not to damage the front of the tank when raising or removing it.

 







NOTE: Clearances are limited at the front of the tank. Use care not to damage any painted surfaces while handling tank.

 




