GENERAL SAFETY RULES SERVICE  Before cleaning, repairing, or inspecting, shut off the engine and make certain all moving parts have stopped. Disconnect the spark plug wire, and keep the wire away from the plug to prevent starting.  Service on the product must be performed by qualified repair personnel only. Service or maintenance performed by unqualified personnel could result in injury to the user or damage to the product.  Maintain the unit per maintenance instructions in this operator’s manual.

FEATURES KNOW YOUR blower ELECTRIC START See Figures 1 - 3. The safe use of this product requires an understanding of the information on the product and in this operator’s manual as well as a knowledge of the project you are attempting. Before use of this product, familiarize yourself with all operating features and safety rules. The blower has an electric start which can be used in place of the recoil starter.

OPERATION WARNING: Do not allow familiarity with this product to make you careless. Remember that a careless fraction of a second is sufficient to inflict serious injury. WARNING: Always wear safety goggles or safety glasses with side shields when operating power tools. Failure to do so could result in objects being thrown into your eyes resulting in possible serious injury. FILLING TANK  Clean surface around fuel cap to prevent contamination.  Loosen fuel cap slowly. Rest the cap on a clean surface.

OPERATION CHARGING A HOT BATTERY PACK CAUTION: If at any point during the charging process none of the LEDs are lit, remove the battery pack from the charger to avoid damaging the product. DO NOT insert another battery. Return the charger and battery to your nearest service center for service or replacement. CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK See Figure 7. The battery pack for this tool has been shipped in a low charge condition to prevent possible problems. Therefore, you should charge overnight prior to use.

OPERATION STARTING AND STOPPING WARNING: See Figures 9 - 11. When starting the product for the first time or when the battery voltage is low, it may be necessary to manually start this product. For electric start: To start a cold engine: DO NOT engage the throttle until the engine starts and runs.  Lay the product on a flat, bare surface.  PRIME - Press the primer bulb 7 times.  SET the start lever to the START position.  PRESS ignition switch.  Push the throttle to run.

MAINTENANCE WARNING: WARNING: When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use of any other parts may create a hazard or cause product damage. Be careful not to cross-thread the spark plug. Crossthreading will seriously damage the product. CLEANING THE EXHAUST PORT AND MUFFLER WARNING: Always wear safety goggles or safety glasses with side shields during tool operation. If operation is dusty, also wear a dust mask.

TROUBLESHOOTING IF THESE SOLUTIONS DO NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM CONTACT YOUR AUTHORIZED SERVICE DEALER. Problem Engine will not start. Possible Cause No spark. No fuel. Engine is flooded. Starter rope pulls harder now than when new. Solution Check spark. Remove spark plug. Reattach the spark plug cap and lay spark plug on metal cylinder. Pull the starter rope and watch for spark at spark plug tip. If there is no spark, repeat test with a new spark plug. Push primer bulb until bulb is full of fuel.

RÈGLES DE SÉCURITÉ GÉNÉRALES DÉPANNAGE  Avant de nettoyer, réparer ou inspecter, arrêter le moteur et vérifier que toutes les pièces en mouvement sont immobilisées. Déconnecter le fil de bougie et le garder à l’écart de la bougie afin d’empêcher un démarrage accidentel.  Le dépannage de la produit doit exclusivement être confié à un personnel qualifié. RÈGLES DE SÉCURITÉ PARTICULIÈRES  Toujours faire le plein à l’extérieur et ne pas fumer pendant le ravitaillement en carburant.  Remettre en place tous les bouchons de conteneur et de réservoir de carburant en les serrant fermement.  Faire l’appoint de carburant avant de lancer le moteur. Ne jamais retirer le couvercle du réservoir de carburant ni ajouter du carburant pendant que le moteur tourne ou quand le moteur est chaud.

CARACTÉRISTIQUES APPRENDRE À CONNAÎTRE LA SOUFFLANTE DÉMARRAGE ÉLECTRIQUE Voir les figures 1 - 3. La sécurité d’utilisation de ce produit exige la compréhension des informations apposées sur l’outil et contenues dans ce manuel d’utilisation, ainsi que la connaissance du travail à exécuter. Avant d’utiliser ce produit, se familiariser avec toutes ses fonctions et règles de sécurité. Le soufflante est doté d’une fonction de démarrage électrique qui peut remplacer la fonction de lanceur à rappel.

ASSEMBLAGE AVERTISSEMENT : Si des pièces manquent ou sont endommagées, ne pas utiliser ce produit avant qu’elles aient été remplacées. Le non-respect de cet avertissement pourrait entraîner des blessures graves.  Installer le tube inférieur et buse assemblés sur le tube supérieur en alignant les languettes de verrouillage en saillie de ce dernier sur les fentes en saillie des tubes inférieurs et tourner pour assujettir l’ensemble.

UTILISATION AVERTISSEMENT : Ne pas laisser la familiarité avec le produit faire oublier la prudence. Ne pas oublier qu’une fraction de seconde d’inattention peut entraîner des blessures graves. AVERTISSEMENT : Toujours porter des lunettes de sécurité étanches ou à coques latérales lors de l’utilisation d’outils électriques. Si cette précaution n’est pas prise, des objets peuvent être projetés dans les yeux et causer des lésions graves.

UTILISATION CHARGE D’UN BLOC DE BATTERIES CHAUD ATTENTION : Si, à tout moment pendant le processus de charge, au cun témoin DEL n’est allumé, retirer le bloc de batteries du chargeur pour éviter d’endommager le produit. NE PAS insérer un autre bloc de batteries. Confier le bloc de batterie et le chargeur au centre de réparations le plus proche pour réparation ou remplacement. CHARGE DU BLOC DE BATTERIES Voir la figure 7.

UTILISATION Démarrage du moteur chaud :  APPUYER sur l’interrupteur d’allumage. Arrêt du moteur :  Maintenir le commutateur en position « que le moteur s’arrête. ENTRETIEN NETTOYAGE DE L’ORIFICE D’ÉCHAPPEMENT ET DU SILENCIEUX AVERTISSEMENT : Utiliser exclusivement des pièces d’origine pour les réparations. L’usage de toute autre pièce pourrait créer une situation dangereuse ou endommager l’outil. AVERTISSEMENT : Toujours porter des lunettes de sécurité munies d’écrans latéraux lors de l’utilisation d’outils. Si une opération dégage de la poussière, porter également un masque antipoussière.

DÉPANNAGE SI LES PRÉSENTES SOLUTIONS NE RÉSOLVENT PAS LE PROBLÈME, CONTACTER LE CENTRE DE RÉPARATIONS AGRÉÉ. Problème Le moteur ne démarre pas. Cause Possible Pas d’étincelle. Pas de carburant. Moteur noyé. Le cordon du lanceur est plus difficile à tirer que lorsque l’outil était neuf. Solution Vérifier la bougie. Retirer la bougie. Débrancher le fil de bougie. Remettre le capuchon sur la bougie et poser cette dernière sur le cylindre métallique.

FUNCIONAMIENTO  Empuje el gatillo para empezar a utilizar la unidad. NOTA: Al enganchada y soltarse el gatillo del acelerador se suelta la palanca de arranque a la posición RUN (funcionamiento). Para arrancar con el motor caliente:  PRESIONE el interruptor de encendido. Para apagar el motor:  Oprima y no suelte el interruptor en la posición de apagado “ ”, hasta que se detenga el motor.

MANTENIMIENTO ADVERTENCIA: ADVERTENCIA: Al dar servicio a la unidad, sólo utilice piezas de repuesto idénticas. El empleo de piezas diferentes puede causar un peligro o dañar el producto. Solución Revise la chispa. Retire la bujía. Desconecte el cable de la bujía.
