Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.
PRUNER SAFETY WARNINGS Use non-slip, heavy-duty protective gloves when operating the pruner and when installing or removing the blade. Replace any blade or other parts that are cracked or damaged. Always make sure blade is installed correctly and securely fastened before each use. Failure to do so can cause serious personal injury to the operator, bystanders, or damage to the unit. Never cut any material over 1-1/2 in. thick. Maintain a firm grip on handle while cutting with a blade.

OPERATION MAKING A CUT OPERATING THE PRUNER See Figures 5 - 6. DANGER: Never cut near electric cords or lines. If blade jams on any electrical cord or line, DO NOT TOUCH THE BLADE! IT CAN BECOME ELECTRICALLY LIVE AND VERY DANGEROUS. Continue to hold the pruner by the handle or lay it down and away from you in a safe manner. Disconnect the electrical service to the damaged line or cord before attempting to free the blade from the line or cord.
MAINTENANCE CLEANING AND STORING THE PRUNER WARNING: When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use of any other parts can create a hazard or cause product damage. ENTRETIEN REMPLACEMENT DE LA LAME AVERTISSEMENT : Utiliser exclusivement des pièces d’origine pour les réparations. L’usage de toute autre pièce pourrait créer une situation dangereuse ou endommager l’produit. AVERTISSEMENT : Au moment de commander des lames de rechange pour cette élagueuse, demander le numéro de pièce 37201572G pour une lame de 150 mm (6 po) et 37202572G pour une lame de 230 mm (9 po).
