The InVision Universal Studio Mount (USM), is the latest addition
to the Rycote InVision range of microphone shock-mounts, and
is designed to accommodate any large-diaphragm side-address
microphone from 18 to 68 mm in diameter (depending on the
model).
Using the Lyre technology, the USM can oer up to 12dB better
attenuation of unwanted vibrations – that’s four times in terms
of sound pressure level – compared to many conventional “cat’s
cradle” elasticated microphone mounts. Stand and cable-borne
noise just disappears.
The InVision Studio Kit is a complete suspension and pop lter
system, which combines the Universal Studio Mount (USM) with
a new Universal Pop Filter to make a complete vocal microphone
suspension and pop lter system that will accommodate virtually
any microphone.

InVision Universal Studio Mount InVision Stereo Pair Kit
The InVision Stereo Pair Kit comprises two vibration-reducing Lyre
suspensions mounted on a rigid, slotted stereo bar.
The dual InVision INV-7 HG MkIII Lyre webs used in the Stereo Pair
Kit can accommodate larger shotgun mics from 19 to 25mm in
diameter, and up to 300mm long. The spacing between the two
webs, and thus between the two mounted microphones, is quickly
and simply adjustable from 40 to 200mm.
InVision 7 Pop Filter Kit
The InVision Pop Filter Kit includes an InVision INV-7 suspension
based on two patented Lyre webs, which will accommodate
shotgun mics from 19 to 25mm in diameter, and provides
broadcast professionals with the cleanest possible sound, free
from unwanted cable- or stand-borne noise. The suspension is
combined with the Pop Filter, allowing the mic to be used for
voiceover or dialogue
replacement
work in studio.
Table Stand & InVision
The Table Stand is 70mm round, has a non-slip base, and
features a 3/8-inch screw thread into which Rycote microphone
suspensions, audio recorder suspensions or clips tted with
small-diaphragm or shotgun microphones up to 250mm
long may be attached. It is sold separately, or together with a
suitable Rycote InVision INV-7 HG MkIII Lyre mount if required.
This optional mount holds microphones from 19 to 25mm in
diameter, and will securely hold microphones of up to 250mm
in length when mounted in the Table Stand.
As always, the Rycote Lyre webs decouples a mounted
microphone extremely eciently from the Table Stand, resulting
in the minimum of vibrations (and thus unwanted noise)
being passed to the
mic capsule.
