15. Scopes are to be mounted with 2 ¾" to 3"
of eye relief to prevent bodily injury.
16. DO NOT PULL THE TRIGGER
WITH THE BARREL BROKEN
OVER. e barrel will y up causing a
bent barrel and could result in serious
injury to a person. Also, a cracked and/or
broken stock may occur.
17. Check front trigger guard screw for
tightness as it can loosen after a number
of shots. e trigger guard screw needs to
be tight at all times.
18. Do not consume alcohol prior to, or during
a shooting session.

Safety Rules
1. Be sure the gun is ALWAYS pointed in a
safe direction.
2. Make sure the gun is ON SAFE until you
are on target.
3. You and others around you should always
wear shooting glasses to protect your eyes.
4. NEVER point a gun at anyone or anything
that you don’t intend to shoot even if the
gun is uncocked and unloaded.
5. Always assume and handle a gun as if it
were loaded and ready to re.
6. When cocking the rie do not place your
hand over or in front of the muzzle.
7. Do not load a pellet into the gun until you
are ready to shoot.
8. Your backstop should be inspected for wear
before and after each use.
9. Always place the backstop in a location
that will be safe should the backstop fail.
10. Discontinue the use of a backstop if the
projectile rebounds or richochets.
11. Store pellets separately from gun to
prevent use by untrained shooters.
12. Shoot only the correct caliber lead pellets
in your RWS Rie as steel BB’s and other
projectiles can ruin the gun.
13. Do not attempt to reuse red pellets as
they may lodge in the barrel.
14. Never carry your air rie cocked and/or
while loaded.
